Upcoming Senior Trust Auction Nov. 1, 2014

10524360_512981002163398_2360417397453816608_n

In early November, we will have an online auction via Facebook to raise funds to pay for the high medical expenses of our pups, particularly our seniors.

1.We start collecting items now (or since last year!!!)
2.  We start promoting the auction and create the auction page in late September/October.
3.  Donors send us (to individual admins or to the NEBTR Facebook page) photos and descriptions of their items.
4.  Admins (myself and a few others) post them to the auction page.
5.  When the auction begins, bidders enter their bids in the “comments” boxes.

Thanks to Nylabone

017

Special thanks to Nylabone for the FANTASTIC donation to NEBTR of their products.

We are blessed that Nylabone donates to rescues and shelters, and
since their plant is getting ready for some work, my friend was able to
provide these amazing donations to our rescue organization!!!!!  This
picture shows only 1-1/2 of the 6 cases I was able to pick up!!!

Comprised of Volunteers

Serving Bostons in NY, NJ & PA.  We also have volunteers in CT and DE.

Northeast Boston Rescue (NEBTR) is comprised of volunteers based in NY/NJ and PA and serves Boston Terriers in need within reach of our helping hands.  Most dogs in foster care for placement are adolescent to adult dogs in need of re-homing in life for a multitude of reasons and will need caring hands to guide them as they transition into new homes.  All of our rescue dogs are fostered and evaluated for a 2 week minimum to allow us to assess their personality and provide them with basic foundation skills – House/Crate training, basic manners – to ease their transition into new homes.  It is our belief such work in foster care better prepares dogs for success and helps forms lasting bonds.

Help Keep Our Doors Open

This is a critical time for NEBTR
Right now $10,000 is what NEBTR needs to keep the doors open to new foster dogs.

How sad would it be to tell a dog at the kill shelter, we just don’t have the funds to take him in? Imagine the dog tied to the tree that we will have to turn away.

If you can donate anything, please click the link above. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. Please share this post so we can reach as many people as possible.

Thank you!

Help Find Missing Foster Boomer

Boomer

We are desperately seeking help from all our supporters and friends…especially those in the Hudson Valley and surrounding area. Boomer escaped from his foster home and we doing everything in our power to try to bring this sweet guy home. Even if you are not in the area you can lend a hand by spreading the word and sharing this picture/poster and his information in hopes it will reach someone who can assist us. If you or someone you know resides in the area where he was last seen we would welcome any support. What we need more than anything right now is the use of outdoor or trail cameras so we can confirm if he is still in the area. We know that Boomer will be brought home and will not stop until he is. Thank you in advance for helping to bring Boomer home safe and sound.

Everyone pays monthly for electricity. Now, when you pay your electric bill, NEBTR will have a recurring income. Go to this website, sign up to receive energy through Stream Energy, and help care for our Bostons.  It’s something we all need and you can help NEBTR who will receive a contribution each month from your electric bill.

By simply switching who you buy your electricity from you can provide support for NEBTR. Each time you pay your electric bill, NEBTR will earn $4.   Imagine if 200 people signed up.It’s a win/win for all!
