Applications are only accepted for specific dogs through our Facebook page. Applications will only be processed if you meet the dog’s requirements. Available dogs are also listed on Pet Finder. There are instructions on Pet Finder on how to get the application link. Thanks for visiting NEBTR.
We primarily accept applications from Boston lovers in New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, but have adopted to those in other states depending on the circumstances.
NEBTR does not buy or sell dogs.
There is an adoption fee for a dog and it usually ranges between $150 and $600 depending on age, health and vet care requirements of the rescued dogs. Adoption fees are in place to defer the veterinary costs for the dogs in our care. All vet records known to NEBTR will accompany each dog upon completed adoption.
Our first and primary goal is to provide the best home possible for each dog so they will never have to come into Rescue or live in a Shelter again. Placement is made based on the needs of each dog and the opportunity offered by an applicant’s home.
Please note that, regretfully, we are unable to adopt to potential adopters who use electronic fences. Also, we cannot accept applications from families with children under the age of 10.
